"Practice makes Permanent". Today the Holy Faith Family is pleased to celebrate with Miss Chelsea Maharaj as she receives an Additional Scholarship based on her results in the CAPE 2020 examinations. Chelsea, you stand as a model of excellence to all of us. Your success has demonstrated that in the midst of volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous circumstances you can be the best. What struck me in your response to the great news is your acknowledgement of the team effort which brought you to this moment.

We share with the national community your words as you remind us that practice, learning from mistakes and a healthy dose of humility are important keys to success..."I always gave my best, since primary school to now. Whenever I fell short, I used it to my advantage and pushed myself because I know I wanted to climb higher each time. I also had a strong support system from my family, friends and teachers, and this also played an important role in maintaining a certain standard of work and achieving a scholarship."

Congratulations to all 100 students who were scholarship recipients this year! Special blessings to you, Chelsea, as you stand tall among these 100 young men and young women, models of resilience and excellence during this Pandemic.
